About the Banners

I love Norman Rockwell and his depiction of America. I am afraid we are losing our heritage and that magic ingredient that has made our country the best country in the world. We are losing Rockwell's America. Slowly, it is fading away. There are people who would like us to "Please Stand By" while we lose what has made us great. I am afraid that there are too many who are blindly following and not questioning what powerful people are saying. I want Norman Rockwell's America back. I want my country back - NOW!

The Federalist No. 2: Jay

... and I sincerely wish that it may be as clearly foreseen by every good Citizen, that whenever the dissolution of the Union arrives, America will have reason to exclaim in the words of the Poet, "FAREWELL, A LONG FAREWELL, TO ALL MY GREATNESS."

Welcome

This is a scary time. You love your country, but you wake up wondering what in the world is going on. It feels like everything you believed in is slipping away. Doesn't hard work and perseverance count for anything anymore? Do we really want to "spread the wealth around"? What does that even mean? Are we going to make it? More important, are our children going to make it?

A Dangerous Time

When did you start thinking that maybe the country we love so much may no longer be the country we grew up in? Did the thought cross your mind, that just maybe, this great country may not last?

We can not go about our normal lives thinking that the United States of America will just go on forever. What lasts forever? The Romans thought their empire would never die. What happened to them? We thought we won the cold war, but now we see something that looks like socialism taking root. Our individual liberties are being compromised every day.

What can we do? We can start by living like our grandparents and parents lived. This site will show you what that means. It's a first step.

What Is Happening to My Country?

I am concerned. I think we are losing it. I am not a Republican any more. Once, a long time ago, I was a Democrat. I am still a capitalist because of the freedom it offers me. I have become an angry American. I am afraid - not for myself, but for my children and for the grandchildren I hope to see some day. I can’t believe the hunger for power of people running our government.

I have waited 100 days to see what President Obama would do. I can’t believe where he is taking our country. I can no longer stand by. I don’t know what I am going to do exactly, but I am going to get active. I am going to speak out. If you have stumbled on to this site, I ask you to spend a few minutes here before moving on. I would like you to consider that maybe something is not quite right.

Every week, we will be highlighting the crazy things our government is doing. In this site, I have made it easy for you to reach out to your Senators and Representatives. Just go to the Contact page. And let's get back to basics. If you have not read the Constitution, I have made that available to you too. It's on the Library page along with other key documents that define our country.

I don’t know how to change where we are headed, but we are going to remind everyone how it used to be, before we got big, fat and soft. It was a simpler time. It wasn't that long ago.

Please Stand By.
